Yes — where clinically appropriate. Some ingredients used in hair loss treatment are not suitable for women, particularly those who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Female patients are prescribed alternative, non-DHT formulations tailored specifically for them.
Hair growth is a gradual process. Many patients notice changes in shedding or hair quality within 3–4 months, with continued improvement over 6–12 months of consistent use. Individual results vary.
Most patients tolerate personalised hair serums well, particularly as the formulation is tailored to individual suitability. Mild and temporary effects can include scalp irritation, redness, dryness, flaking, a tingling or warming sensation after application, and in some cases temporary increased shedding during the early stages of use. These effects often settle as the scalp adjusts.
Less commonly, some users may experience persistent irritation, unwanted hair growth outside the scalp if product transfers to the face or hands, or rare symptoms such as headache or light-headedness.
